Works as expected but size 4 is too big for Philips coffee maker so I have to cut it almost in half to use it. Check the size carefully before ordering and dont make the same mistake as I did!

Been ordering the coffee filter papers from Koinonia rather frequently now, to with the Black & Decker 8-mug coffee maker at my design studio. Their sample roast was also quite nice – I intend to order a few of their roasts (been trying various Starbucks beans for the last 6 months!) Highly recommend ordering these for your coffee machine/s – quick delivery and very reliable papers indeed. Thank you, guys.

Japanese made it says on the cover, initial response was the paper is very thin but it is well made and I absolutely like it, however I do wish an in unbleached one was available to chose.
Appreciate that a sample coffee powder was provided which was very good, however I am a fan of dark roasted coffee, wish I had an option to choose the sample since coffee choice is somethjng very subjective to the grind and roast… I would be ordering the coffee to see if I can find something to my taste 😊

I bought this as I was recently gifted a Philips coffee machine. Philips recommends #4 filter. This was the first time I am using an electric coffee making machine, typically used for black coffee.
Pros
1) Very good quality filter and fits my coffee machine perfectly.
2) It’s very very useful for having black coffee. I have the normal South Indian coffee filter and use that filter for traditional coffee.
3) It doesn’t tear inspire of all the heat and dampness while preparing the coffee.
4) No coffee dust residue in the coffee decoction below. I was wary of that happening
5) just takes about 10 mins for 4-6 coffee cups
Cons
1) it’s seems a bit costly. I think the free coffee pkt adds to the price a bit

I’m a big time pour-over fan and so is my wife.
Pour-over coffee for two of us would mean about 2 full spoons of coffee into the paper and hot water absorbing flavours from our wide range of exotic coffee. Sometimes I even plunge coffee powder and water to get it quick. But these filter papers for coffee haven’t failed me once.
I’m ordering my next soon and sincerely recommend them to all other coffee fanatics.

I am using this with my Hario V60 Drip, works perfectly fine. The only issue I have is it’s not a perfect cone so it doesn’t fit perfectly. Sometimes when there is a gap on one side, it makes the water drip faster into the flask so to adjust it, it’s quite a task. The paper does not have a flavour of its own but I still pour hot water first to clean it.
