KUMAR IYER –
There is no aroma and the beans do not appear to be roasted properly and the powder is not fine so not good for filter coffee

I ordered the black coffee option of 200g, 2 pack each. I picked the pure coffee section since I don’t like the taste of chicory. After receiving the package, I was expecting on opening it that I would have the pure coffee smell to it. However after a wiff of the powder I came to the realisation that it had a strong smell of Chicory. To give the benefit of doubt I made the “coffee” from it. And just as I had expected the drink had to coffee to it and felt exactly like chicory teal. A coffee person would recognise that unlike tea, coffee doesn’t sediment at the bottom of the cup as it easily mixes with water in powder form. However my cup, after I had the drink, looked like a mud spring. It seems that the powder is 70% chicory and rest I don’t know. Doesn’t even feel like coffee. I have no problem with the quality of the product but rather with the type of product. Not what I ordered.

Quality has been degraded, tasted almost every filter coffee except devan’s….. CCD has degrade their coffee beans quality. Coffee is fresh with full of aroma but taste is on bitter side according to medium roast level. This might be light roast earlier I tasted CCD in 2019……. according to price it’s costly. One can consider cothas, Jayanthi or Mysore concern instead.
