Order it from their website and you get freshly roasted beans. Order it from market places and you’ll receive stale, old, near to expiry roasted beans. As coffee connoisseurs would know, freshness lasts only for a month or two post roasting…not recommended.

I have been looking for a cost effective coffee with the right Arabic dark roast taste. After using this, I realised this is what I was looking for. It’s a little expensive when compared to other brands but I guess it’s worth it. It would be good to have it in 1kg pack too.
Note: please get full beans instead of ground or brew bags for fresh and proper brew. Brew bags are actually the worst.

One of the best coffee I had in a while, I have been to cafes, I really like the taste and experience of arabica coffee, but each cup in cafes are no less than ₹100. I am a daily coffee person so I cant spend ₹100 on coffee everyday. But I still wanted the cafe experience of freshly ground coffee. So here I am After buying and trying this coffee. Coffees flavor is best bought out only when freshly ground. So buy the beans, no need for fancy coffee grinders, just use your mixer but while grinding check for your desired size. For me I use the drip coffee method so I grind it not coarsely and not fine, somewhere in between. this works best for me. It differs from person to person. Just experiment and play around to find the truly desired method and taste for you.

Beans loose flavor after 30 days, forget 180 days..

I recently purchased the Sleepy Owl Dark Roast Coffee Whole Beans 100% Arabica 250g packet. The package sent to me was packed on Feb/2022 with Batch No. DWB09BA. As expected, the coffee had gone completely stale as it was packed almost 5 months ago. Coffe beans had completely lost its aroma and falvour. At this point those are just like beans made of wood. Other than shape and color of the beans, there is no characteristics left to identify itself as coffee!

It has a decent aroma, and has above average taste. I would’ve preferred less roasted nevertheless. Coffee is best when they are medium roast not dark roast.
